CUI Secured Environments

Starting in December 2017, the Federal Government now requires all contracts involving CUI to adhere to stricter information security standards and controls to protect sensitive government data. This primarily impacts research grants from Federal Government agencies, but can also be required by non-governmental agency contracts.

The IT Department is equipped to help researchers working with this data design secure computing environments and is available to build and manage them on the research team's behalf. At this time, each environment will be uniquely designed, leveraging enterprise services wherever possible.
