High-performance desktop computing empowers researchers to run complex programs, simulations, and algorithms on a local lab machine.

Precision workstations can range in hardware from single 4 core processors to dual 28 core processors. Up to 3TB of memory, depending on the model, terabytes of drive space and high-powered GPU cards.

Workstations around campus are used for computational chemistry, fluid dynamics, finite-element simulations, molecular dynamics and many other research fields where horsepower produces results. There are 3 models we use to great success.
